Day 1 of his field camp
Today is my boy's first day at his field camp. He called me at 5.53am to say "bye!" to me. Ya, bye for 6 days. Sob Sob...I'm gonna miss you man =(
I also prepared a 6 days field camp present for him too. It's in his locker at tekong. hoho! I'll post the picture of it in my next entry.

Today was a traveling day for me. I went to Marymount at 9am for p4 english tuition, followed by Ubi at 11.30am for driving and AMK at 3.45pm for my music lesson. I'm so dead tired. I took a total of 8 trips of bus today. *PENG*
I'm like traveling around Singapore everyday. Weekdays I will go Dover for school. Occasionally I will go Ubi for driving. And 5 out of 7 days I will go to tuition houses (Yio Chu Kang and Marymount).
And yes, I'm a tutor now. Unbelievable right? It is true, believe me. I'm trying my best to teach my p1 girl and p4 boy. I'm responsible for their education and their future. That's the importance of a teacher and a tutor. God bless me!!
Enough of rattling. Time for a rest before I start on my CAs.

12 days
My boy is back in camp.
I'm will not be able to see him for the next 12 days. He will be going for his field camp next Saturday, so no book-out and no phone calls for 6 days. Sob sob.
I hope everything goes smoothly. I can't wait for him to be back with all his field camp stories. I bet he will have a lot to say. Ho ho!! I also hope he won't lose his rifle in there.
It is really not easy maintaining a relationship with an NS guy. He has totally no TIME for you. Whenever he books out, he will want to sleep on his comfortable bed and go into "Lala Land". But I'm quite used to it already. I'll try to be an understanding gf. =)

BEETLE
I'm simulating Ubi's driving circuit. (got influenced by juan hui)..
I'm imagining parking my car, going through S course...
I'm going crazy. AHHH...
7 Aug 2007 is coming!!! That's the day that decides my fate. LOL. Just kidding. It just determines whether I pass or fail my traffic police driving test.

This Red Beetle covertible will be lao niang's first car
I know I can't afford it now but I'll buy it when I have the money in future. I'll just drive my parent's car after I pass my driving. Why waste money to buy a car when I can't afford the monthly payments. I'm already fortunate enough to have a family car.
Honestly, I'll rather take a cab as a form of transportation, which will only add up to the petrol cost of a car per month (excluding car installments). What a painful reality!
It's not easy maintaining a car. So why bother suffering by buying one at a tender age of 18 or 19, UNLESS you are born on a silver spoon or you are just filthy rich. If paying $500 - $1000++/month is nothing to you, then go ahead and get a car at 18.
People say that you have to get a lousy 1st car so you won't actually damage or cause an accident with a good car. That's not the case for me. I won't want to waste my precious money buying something that is ugly or something I dislike. I'll rather spend my money on something I like and that's my Beetle. I adore it, especially the convertible one.
Convertible is not really practical on Singapore's road but I just love the way it is. Cute and classy. For cars, I go for designs than it's specs. I'm a girl afterall, not a guy. LOL.
Ok. Back to doing my school work. Ta ta!

Day 1 - Singapore to Genting
On our way to Golden Mile. 6am. I look scary I know.

The tour bus is cool. You can adjust your seat to 180 degree straight. It's better than sitting in my dad's car. This is the first time I took a bus up to Genting. Guess what, I slept all the way till Genting after the first stop-over.

I persuaded them to go with me. I've never been to snow city before, even the Singapore one. It was -4 degree in there. So cold. There was this slide I took. We had to climb all the way up and sit on the float to slide down. Fun but my butt aches..

Day 2 - Genting to KL then back to Genting
We went down to KL because it was raining so we decided to go the themepark the next day. And I tell you, I will never ever take their bus down to Genting anymore. That 45min ride almost killed me ok. I will pay more to take a cab next time.

Totally not scary at all. Rating 6 / 10. I'm quite disappointed with it but it was still fun.

We played this bumper car game for so many times. I can't even count it with my two hands. There were this group guys who looked so irritating. One of the guy in their group who looked like their "lao da" because he looked old, around late twenties. That lao da of the group used so much force to bang my cute little bumper car. I never got banged with such strong-impact in my whole life. I'm damn pissed with him. I decided to take revenge and do it back to him. It was fun. I also had 3 guys to protect me since I'm the only girl there. laughs..

Genting may seemed like another boring spot for most people. But it's not the same for me. I really like Genting a lot and I'm gonna miss Genting man! I will take the cable car ride the next time I go Genting. Looking forward to my next trip there. =)
