I'm back from my
3 days 2 night stay at
BATAM!
Oh. All I can say is, Batam is quite boring. Luckily we met "Ah Chun" uncle (Thomas' friend) there. He brought us around for 3 days. We stayed at his house for the first night.
The second night, we stayed at a hotel that cost $20/night. I like the hotel. It is clean, comfortable and cheap. Much better than Watana Mansion (the hotel I stayed in Bangkok).
The thing I love most about this trip was the "
BAK KU TEH". That's the best bak ku teh I ever tasted in 19 years of my life. I ate it twice. =) =) =)
WHERE CAN YOU FIND SUCH GOOD BAK KU TEH IN SINGAPORE? Even balestier's bak ku teh is no match to Batam's bak ku teh! For people interested to know where this shop is located, it's just next to Hotel Astro.
